Las profesiones con un alto componente analítico y de creatividad serán las ocupaciones más requeridas por empresas de todas las industrias.
Estas con las carreras STEM, posicionadas como los perfiles con mejor proyección de cara al futuro.
Sumado a la escasez de talentos STEM en los países de América Latina, las carreras STEM enfrentan otro gran reto: disminuir la brecha de género.
Según datos de la UNESCO, solo el 35 % de las mujeres eligen carreras STEM. Esto se debe, entre otras barreras, a la exclusión de las mujeres en formación STEM desde temprana edad, los prejuicios y los estereotipos de género que tienen influencia sobre las jóvenes al momento de elegir una carrera.
Johnson & Johnson brindan la oportunidad a mujeres jóvenes de tener un acercamiento a las carreras STEM con el programa Desafío Innova + STEM. Para J&J es importante que rompa esa barrera entre las carreras STEM y las mujeres que desean estudiarlas.
Sin duda es una gran alianza la que se ha creado junto con Junior Achievement, trabajando juntos en beneficio de las y los jóvenes de México.
